Linda has been doing well this weekend, especially since she got to see Bill, Laura, and the famous Audrey this Sunday. She is bored and anxious to get home sometime Tuesday. So am I!! Tomorrow, I will be running around like crazy, getting the house ready and safe for her, etc, etc, etc.
I babysitted Audrey while Bill and Laura looked at potential houses in Cleveland. I only had to change one poopy diaper Saturday and two others. I am proud to say, I did fine and didn't even gag! Yea! Dawn also spent the afternoon and evening with me as a much appreciated backup and helper and play date for Audrey. We repeat the fun in two weeks when they return for more lookee, lookee.
Glad Linda's BP is responding to the meds! (That's got to be a plus towards coming home.)
ReplyDeleteOuch, on the PJ trick..You Ericksens really are a lucky group! We're happy it's nothing more serious. With no new postings for a while (I forgot to check Fri.), I was hoping there were no new crises.
Keep up the good work, Evan. There was an old Geritol commercial I was particularly fond of in my day. You and Linda can record the new, improved version...the two of you stand together while you(Evan) say: "I clean the house, I wash & iron the clothes, I do the shopping, cook the meals (blah blah blah)..." Then Linda says: "I think I'll keep him!" Yeah, I defininitely like it!
Still sending the positive thoughts,
Dave & Sherri
Ah, yes, the waiting. I can imagine how anxious both of you are. Hope Dr. Jacobs is able to give you a good report on Linda's BP. I left a comment on your Friday post so this will be brief. Hope to see you after Linda gets settled at home.
ReplyDeleteNighty night,
Pat
Wishing you a smooth transition from Rehab to "home life". With love, patience, humor and faith in God all is possible.
